Week 43 – Dirk Herfurth

If you’re a fan of martial arts, you won’t want to miss the Dixon Ryukyukan Karate and Kobudo tournament. This annual event brings together practitioners of all ages and skill levels to compete in karate, kobudo (Okinawan weapons), and sparring matches.

I had the opportunity to participate in the tournament this year on November 5th and it was an unforgettable experience.

One of the highlights of the tournament was the advanced knock down division. Watching these skilled practitioners go head to head was truly impressive. It was an honor to be able to compete alongside them.

Although I didn’t end up winning, I was able to push myself to the limits and make new friends with other martial artists.

Even if you’re not a martial artist yourself, the Dixon Ryukyukan Karate and Kobudo tournament is a great event to watch. The energy and is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat.

My current Challenge progress as of December 24, 2024.
