Written by This was probably one of the best weeks of the year. The presale codes for Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour in Vancouver were released early this week and my mom received one. I left school early to get Ticketmaster loaded and prepared. I then got into the waiting room for the queue half an hour before the presale started. Once the queue opened, we were ~2200 in line and after a very stressful ten minutes and Ticketmaster nearly crashing from the traffic, we secured 3 tickets in the lower bowl! I have been wanting to see Taylor Swift for so long and was unable to get tickets to the two other shows I registered for. The show is in almost exactly 13 months but I can’t wait. I’m going to go all out on my outfit for the show and probably make a replica of one of the outfits she wears on the tour.
I also had my community service project this week! I organized a hike to raise money for The Gathering Inn, a nonprofit dedicated to ending homelessness across Placer County. Big thanks to Dirk, David, David’s wife, Elan, Jake, Jake’s mom, Elinor, Sonya, and Avi for coming up to Auburn to hike! The project raised $2385 in total, thank you to everyone who donated!
