Summer Trip #1

Coeur d'Alene Resort Promotional DVD 2012

Just got back from my first trip of the summer. It was to Idaho for a golf tournament of 80 people. Although it was a very fun, long weekend, I was struck by the beauty of the landscape in Couer D’Alene. Vast rolling green hills and verdant countryside with yellow flowers. It was hard to take my eyes off them at times, even when I was playing golf. Aside from the absolute blast of a time I had with good friends, the views were a huge bonus. One of the most stunning things was lake Couer D’Alene and the golf course that was along the shore. One of the holes had the only floating green in the world. It was breathtaking. I find it’s always important to appreciate nature. It really brings you back to what’s important in life. Also, the temperatures were 70s-80s so that definitely beat the 100+ temperatures we are experiencing in Sacramento. I was able to get my black belt training in for most of the days, luckily.

My current Challenge progress as of December 23, 2024.

  1. It looks like a beautiful place. I am glad you got to do one of your hobbies in such a beautiful and cool temperature place. Nature always makes me feel energized and happy.
