Learning Patience

We have always been told that patience is a virtue throughout our lives. I have always had a difficult time with this. It has always been hard for me to “wait patiently” for anything. I am the type of person that wants to get things done right away or change the situation so that it can be accomplished quicker. I have been learning lately how important patience is. We can’t force everything to happen, sometimes the best course is to just wait and let things play out. One of the most difficult aspects of this is being patient with myself. I need to accept the fact that I am only human and can only do so much; to leave things to God, fate, etc to carry out as they should. A lot of times, the best outcomes occur from being patient even though they aren’t the outcomes you originally wanted.

  1. You are right about patience being difficult to learn. Keep on working towards the goal and enjoy the journey to get there. There are three months left. It will be here very soon.
