Written by This week was pretty chill. I did some hiking to collect plant samples for a big project in my AP Environmental Science class. I collected about 30 samples and then put them in a plant press to dry and flatten them. The week concluded with a trip to Nevada City with my mom to visit some family up there.
My Lola and I made lumpia (Filipino fried spring rolls) for a few hours in preparation for Thanksgiving next week. As always, they turned out great and we ended up making about 80 lumpia in total. She also showed me how to use a sewing machine since I am going to attempt to make an outfit to wear to The Eras Tour next year.
I also went with some of my friends to see the fall play at my school, Puffs. It is about a certain wizard boy at a certain school of witchcraft and wizardry. It was a really good show and was super funny. I know several people in the cast and it was cool to see them on stage.
