Written by Every year my entire family on my dad’s side takes a week long trip to Santa Cruz. It is our annual vacation because my great grandparents had gone there for their anniversary every year and the family wanted to keep that tradition. Sadly this year will probably be the last because renting the beach houses are getting too expensive for everyone and no one can find anywhere else to stay. I’ve had a lot of great memories on these Santa Cruz vacations like going to the beach, eating great food that my family makes, and getting to see all my cousins that I don’t see a lot. This year my dad and I went camping a few miles away from where everyone else was staying and I absolutely loved it. The camp sites in Santa Cruz are my favorite because I used to camp there with my family every year when I was little so it felt really good being able to stay there again. I enjoy spending time with my family because they all remind me of how wonderful life is. I’m sure this isn’t the last time I will be in Santa Cruz but it might be with my entire family and I am so glad I went and was able to be with them the whole time.
