Fighting Illness

I recently got sick starting Thursday and dragged into this weekend. Not COVID but some kind of sinus infection. It usually happens when I’m run down and not taking care of myself. I am also reading a book called Karate Do: My Way of Life and it mentions how karate training was credited for staving off illness. I can attest to this as I hardly ever get sick (maybe 1-2 times per year) and training really does make me feel better. Despite not feeling great, I’ve still been able to get my black belt training in. After each time, I feel better than I did before. Now, on Sunday, I am back to feeling almost 100%. I am a big believer in that staying active wards off ailments, in addition to general good health. I always feel that getting a good sweat in and being active makes me feel better all around.
