I started getting back to class. Which has been very good for me mentally. I think the hardest part of recovery for me, is sitting still. I can get through all of the katas now, with slow kicks. There are some kicks I have to skip still, and stomps are no go’s. But I AM making progress. I started going to the gym yesterday. I did a lot of leg exercises (light weight) trying to get my leg working again. My goal is to get to the gym three days a week for the next month. I’ve started to get pushups/situps back into my daily routine. If I spread them out throughout the day, I am okay. It feels good to start putting in some numbers on my stats.
I am glad you are recovering and making progress. Good to see you back in karate classes. We will get there.
