I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to travel to Japan for 2 weeks with a friend from the karate dojo. I can’t speak enough amazing things about this country. The food, the people, the history, the cities and natural beauty. All of them have surpassed all expectations. First stop was in Tokyo for a few days. Although there are endless things to say about Tokyo, I will just sum up to describe it as very exciting and enlightening. Second stop was Okinawa, the birthplace of karate. Seeing Shurijō castle, eating authentic sushi, going to the Shureido store, and going to a beach to practice kata. One more week to go and many adventures to come.

My current Challenge progress as of November 21, 2024.
