Usually once or a couple times a year a couple family members take a trip to San Francisco to enjoy the cool weather and go to the memorable spots. We always wake up really early and take the train so we can spend all day walking around. This time we went to Chinatown first and ate some really good dumplings and rolls from a bakery and went into a bunch of cool stores. We then went out to this Italian restaurant which was really nice. We all walked the entire time so it was really tiring but at least it wasn’t over 100° out. We enjoyed some time at Pier 39 which is always really fun to walk into all the shops. We ate a bunch of great food all day and finally around 6 we headed back to Sacramento on the train. I’m really glad I can experience little day trips with my family like this.

I love visiting San Francisco. It sounds like the perfect day eating great food, seeing the sights, staying cool, and being with family. I wish I was there on these uncomfortably hot days also.
