I finished reading “You Are Here.” It walks you through the concept of mediation. I feel like even after a year of meditating every day, I still struggle. I have a hard time shutting down my thoughts. Some days are better than others. Overall, I believe I am making progress, but its slow lol. Everything I have read/listened to about meditating says it’s okay to have thought pop up while meditating, you become aware of it, and then you let it go and return to the meditation. It’s the letting go I struggle with lol. I start to overthink, and I really have to reel myself back in. But

Meditation was always difficult for me. Try to focus on deep breathing and letting your thoughts go. It is not easy. It is always a work in progress.
