Lucas Grant: Week 11

I finished my personal project! Well kind of… I still need to finish my 1500-3500 word essay but that’s the easy part. I am really proud of what I created, this is the first time I really, really like an art piece I made. I chose to make my personal project with Blender because I’ve always had these cool art ideas in my brain but I lacked the physical ability to create it. But Blender unlocks the ability to really make whatever you want. So that enticed me to now put my ideas onto a space where I have free creative liberty. My final product is far form perfect but it is by far the best thing I’ve created in Blender. So that was around 25 hours of work and now I need to continue to write a rather large essay.

My black belt test has been going really well. The push-ups are getting easier and so are the sit-ups. I’ve been getting in quite a lot of sparring rounds but I could always do some more. The miles have been interesting, since I’m turning 16 I’m learning how to drive which hasn’t been bad. But having to balance biking to get my miles and riding my bike has been kind of hard to deal with. But I will make it through, another week down.

My current Challenge progress as of December 23, 2024.

  1. Lucas, I don’t know what “Blender” is. Did you make a rover model? Would love to see it. Remember, the journey is the reward. “Keep Hammering” love, G
