I have never stated exactly what my personal goal for the year is. My personal goal is my flight training. I started training for my private pilot’s license in July. Yesterday I flew for the first time in 3 weeks. I had attempted to fly many times in those 3 weeks, unfortunately I was weathered out of flying several times. Flying is my ultimate career goal. Flying for an airline is what I would like to do with my life, and my next move to college in the fall will help me progress that goal. Also haven’t talked about college apps yet, so I’ll make it short for this blog. I applied and was accepted to Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, Arizona. I’ll be majoring in Aeronautical Sciences(basically flying), and this will help to progress my aviation journey. Though I haven’t really reached any major milestones yet, other than starting of course, I believe that I have succeeded in my goal to dive into my passion for aviation. Whether I am flying a tiny little Cessna 152, or a 737, flying anything is my goal, not just for this challenge, but for my life as well.

Congratulations on getting into the college you wanted with the major you wanted. Keep on working towards your final goal of flying a 737. You will be a professional pilot someday.
I’ve really enjoyed seeing your flight progress. I’ve always wanted our students to go soaring out into the world—and you are!
