Common Kings Concert

Me and my mom went to a common kings concert at the warfield in San Francisco. Surprisingly the first act actually started at the posted show time of 8 pm. They went for about 1 hour and I honestly could hardly tell what they were saying. I think there was an issue with the audio system, since the lead singer kept ajusting his ear piece. The second act came out about five minutes after the first act finished which is also strange. Even stranger was the fact that the second act was a dj at a reggae concert. The second act was about 30 minutes and the main act, Common Kings came out right after the second act went on stage. Their set was quite long but it was really good. It turns out that that was the first show of a new tour, which could be part of the audio issues experienced by the first act. Their set was more than 1:45, after which we decided to leave so we could get out before all of the masses tried to go out into downtown SF at the same time. According to my mom, who had seen Common Kings before, they never play their song, “Today’s A New Day” which they ended up playing during their set. It was definitely an interesting concert, but it was still amazing.
