Written by This weekend on Saturday there was a big tournament that Sensei Bennati hosted. It was a really fun tournament and I really like the tournaments that Sensei Bennati hosts because they are always very organized and everyone is very respectful. I competed in open hand kata and point sparring and took 1st place in both. I really loved competing but my favorite part was watching my fellow students and classmates perform kata and spar. It was exciting seeing so many people there from our dojo especially people that don’t normally travel for big tournaments like this. I am very proud of everyone for competing and cheering on the other competitors.IMG_3598
