Summer Weekends

This past weekend was both eventful and fun. I was off work Friday and was able to play golf and catch up with a good friend then met up with some different friends for a work happy hour later in the evening. Saturday I played golf again, then went to an outdoor concert and dinner. Sunday I mainly relaxed but was able to get some things done I’ve been meaning to. The remaining half of this year is going to be “fun busy”. I have several trips coming up. Going to Idaho, then back home to Pennsylvania, a house boat trip, then Arizona, then Croatia, and finally Japan. In between these are birthday parties, July 4th cookouts, a retirement party, and a wedding. Looking forward to it all. I realize I very much enjoy keeping myself busy and spending time with loved ones, both family and friends. Although exhausting, these excursions create lifelong memories that I wouldn’t give up for the world. That’s life. Sharing memories with those closest to us. Just have to remember to get rest and stay healthy. I hope everyone’s summer is just as exciting.
