Visiting Family In Oregon

I have some family on my mom’s side too but my uncle and his family live in Portland Oregon so we don’t get to see them as often. We usually just see them every couple years for the holidays or just because we haven’t seen them in a while. It was amazing seeing my aunt and uncle again. I have another cousin too who is in college and I got to see her the last couple days I was there. My uncle owns a wine bar in Portland and he has a little apartment connected to his home that we stayed in. I love that area because everything is walking distance and there are a bunch of great restaurants around there. While we were there we went on a couple great hikes, went shopping at thrift stores which was really fun, and just got to be with family. My favorite thing about my uncles house is that he has an old Nintendo in his basement that doesn’t work usually but whenever I go to his house I fix it for him so we get to play games like Mario and Zelda when we have downtime.
