Ankle Injury

This week my ankle swelled up to the size of a golf ball.  I injured it practicing karate.  On Friday I could barely walk.  I iced and elevated it most of the day on Friday.  This weekend we went to Reno Nevada for a basketball tournament for my kids.  I elevated when I could watching games.  I did volunteer at the food station for both my kids teams.  They both did well.  My daughter’s team made it to the championship game and got second. My son’s team  got third place.  In the evening I did my pushups, crunches, slow kata, and meditation.  I did no extra walking exercise to rest my ankle.  The swelling has gone down.  It feels better.  I hope it continues to heal.
