This week I made some food for Sensei Warren. He is taking care of his wife full time. He is a model example of what you do for the people you love when they need you the most. I made some homemade blueberry muffins, some turkey burgers, salmon burgers, and fresh cooked broccoli and zucchini. He was so appreciative and thankful that I brought the food to him. He was smiling and happy which made me smile and happy. I made his day and he made mine.
Kindness is easy to do. When I open the door for strangers sometimes people are thankful and sometimes they don’t say anything. It does not bother me when they don’t acknowledge I have done it because it was the right thing to do. I expect nothing in return. Sometimes I do get a great big smile and thank you. I feel good because I made someone’s day. Maybe they will pass on the kindness. It helps to make the world a brighter place.
