Stressful Week

This past week, to be perfectly honest, was very rough. I have been trying to make up for a lot of the pushups and situps that I missed while I was out of town, and it is proving to be very difficult. I know that everyone warned me of this, but it is so easy to fall behind. I came back to school on Monday last week, so in addition to having to make up for all of my pushups and situps, I had a ton of schoolwork to make up. To make matters even worse, I had really bad back pain and terrible cramps all week long. It has probably been one of the most stressful and difficult weeks of this test. My ability to eat has been getting better, but I still struggle with getting my food down most days. I don’t think that I ever anticipated how difficult it would be to balance this test with my school, work, and just life in general. The number of hours that I spend at the dojo every week can help with my numbers, but it has led to some added stress because I am so often not at home. It was honestly just a really hard week, and I’m hoping for a better one this week.

  1. This test may be one of the most difficult tests you ever take. I understand everything you are going through. Make sure to take time for yourself to remain healthy. It is okay to not do everything everyday. Some days your body just needs to rest. It’s not a mountain if it is not steep. Keep on working towards your long term goal. You will get there one day and one step at a time. I will support you 100% of the way there.
