Stinson Beach

Yesterday Olivia and I went on a day trip to Stinson Beach! It was very fun considering this was the first time we had gone on a trip without any parents. Before we headed to Stinson, we went to the dojo at 7:30am to get a few sparring rounds in. I knew that we would be gone for the majority of the day, so I didn’t want to fall behind on my numbers for Sunday. In total we walked 4.63 miles, which is a little over one days worth!
On the drive we got Starbucks, listened to music, and overall had a great time. Driving through the Bay Area smelled so good. However, when we got to the beach, we realized that it was only 63° and neither of us had warm clothing. We were both kind of thinking “Yay beach trip!” and didn’t think to check the weather. Poor planning on our part. We ended up buying cheap touristy long sleeve shirts, so it turned out okay. It was very relaxing laying on the beach eating pizza and listening to the ocean waves together. At one point we saw about 200 seagulls flying really low along the sand and they were coming straight at us. Kind of terrifying but very funny. We’re hoping to plan another girls trip to Tahoe next!
