East Coast

Last week I got back from my family vacation to the East Coast. We went to six different states, including New York, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Maine, and Massachusetts. These were all new states for me to visit. My family decided to go on this vacation because my sister went to Boston, Massachusetts, last year on a school trip, and she kept talking about how cool it was, so we decided to make it our family vacation for this year. My favorite states were Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Rhode Island was so pretty, and we were right by the water. It was exactly what I pictured for the coastal side of the East Coast. Massachusetts was also really cool because it had the big city vibe, but it wasn’t as crowded as New York City was. We also went to a Boston Red Sox game while we were there. It was pouring rain right before the game started, and we weren’t sure if the game was going to be postponed or not, but thankfully, the sun came out right in time for the game. Unfortunately, the Red Sox didn’t win, and the game wasn’t great, but it was still a really fun experience to get to go there. Thankfully, we headed home right before the massive heat wave hit. It was a super fun trip overall!

  1. I’m glad you enjoyed visiting the Eastern seaboard! I love the hydrangea picture. I had a gorgeous hydrangea bush at my home in Delaware, and this reminded me of it. So you added 6 states to your “now visited” list. How many have you been to? Do you hope to visit all 50?
