This week was difficult to train. I had a terrible cold. I had a throat that burned, non stop runny nose, headache, sneezing, coughing, and was very tired. Thankfully I was covid negative. I taught my classes and went to class with a mask on. This is one of those weeks when training was challenging. I did many less miles. I was able to do the daily pushups, crunches, and kata with resting long periods in between sets. I always felt better after going to class. I was always glad I did even though I did not feel like going. This is what makes this test such a mountain to climb. Even when I am tired and don’t feel good I push through to prevail. Some day in 11 months I hope to reach the top of the mountain. I just have to get through tough weeks like this one.

It’s tough, and it’s even tougher when you’re sick, but I was glad to see you were able to step back and remember the big picture in the end Hang in there!
