This past month, I think, has been the hardest of my test so far. Sadly, my Oma (great-grandmother) passed away late this month. It was a really big loss to the family, as she has been a really big part of our day-to-day lives. And with that loss came family coming into town, memorial arrangements being made, and on top of that, I also injured my knee that same week (more on that in a different post), and we had a family member from Germany staying with us for the last 2 weeks of the month. So I haven’t really had the time or motivation to get my numbers in. I was already fairly ahead, so I haven’t fallen too behind, but with the recovery time for my knee, I know that getting back on track for miles and sparring will definitely be a struggle. On a happier note, I did get to see Phoebe Bridgers in San Francisco with some of my best friends, which I really enjoyed.
