School is out, and that means summer can start! I’m super excited to be able to take a break from school and hang out with friends, work, and just have a good time in the sun. One thing that I am going to do this summer is go to the gym. Planet Fitness is doing a program where 14-19 year olds are able to attend the gym for free for the summer. So, as of writing this I have gone 1 time, and let me tell you I am so sore. I thought that the 150 situps and pushups would make it so I wouldn’t be too sore. I was so wrong. My abs, shoulders, the tops of the thighs, and my pecs are aching with pain. But even though I’m in pain it was so much fun to mess with the machines and actually work with weights for the first time. I’m planning on going a few times a week and trying to get myself on a schedule.
My test is going pretty well, I am a little behind on my book readings but now I have a reading schedule so I should be caught up in no time. Another thing I have to be mindful of are my miles. Now that school is out I don’t have to ride my bike everyday. On top of that with now having a car, the drive to ride my bike places went down. But no matter what, in order to get my necessary miles I’ll have to do some bike rides and such to keep up.
Lots to think about for your Black Belt. Good to have something to strive for. Long journey but you will be so proud and happy at the finish. So will all of us, as we watch you receive that Black Belt!! Love G
