Written by On October 4th I attended the dojos banquet. Before it started, Avi, Sonia, and I all got ready together at my house. I love getting ready for fancy events with my friends because we always have a lot of fun! We unintentionally wore dresses that made a gradient, so the photos we took looked really nice.
Once we got to the banquet we talked to people, danced, ate, and overall just had a great time. The three of us spent a lot of our time on the dance floor. We had a lot of fun dancing with all the younger kids and even some of the parents!
During the awards portion of the banquet I was nominated for 3 awards. Even though I didn’t win any of the awards, I am still very grateful that I was even considered. Everyone who received awards very much deserved them, and I am so happy for Avi for receiving a teaching award! I hope that the dojo holds another banquet because I had a lot of fun at this one!
