Last week, my family and I took a trip to Disney Land! The last time I went to Disneyland, I was five years old, and now I am seventeen, so it has been a very long time since I last went. This time was much different than my last trip. It wasn’t waiting in lines to meet characters; it was actually getting to go on all of the big rides. It was a really fun trip. We spend one day in Disneyland, one day in California Adventure, two days in the actual city of Los Angeles, and a couple of travel days. Over the course of my six-day trip, I walked a total of 32 miles! It’s incredibly nice that this vacation was turned into an opportunity to get a lot of my miles in. However, even though I got a bunch of miles, I got behind on my pushups and situps. My original plan was to do lots of pushups and situps in the evenings after the park, but by the time I would get back to the hotel at night, I was so exhausted that I got hardly any done. So even though I am behind on my pushups and situps, I am not too concerned because I am currently working to make all of those numbers up. In general, I think that I have been doing a decent job at keeping up, but I definitely still have room to improve.
