I think that the biggest thing that I have fallen behind on is my mileage. I thought that I would have this one down pretty easily. My dad and I would go on bike rides anywhere from 10 to 20 miles. However, it very quickly got cold, and our motivation to hop on a bike and ride in the cold with the wind in our face went down. Since I am not allowed to use a treadmill to work on my miles, I always have to be outside when I am doing this. It was extremely cold for a while, and it was raining quite a bit, which meant that getting these miles would be very tough. Now, my dad and I are back to going on long bike rides. Even though it is cold and not super fun, we just wear double or even triple layers of clothing, and sometimes we even wear gloves, scarves, hats, and masks to help protect us from the cold so that we can get all of our miles in. Once it’s spring again, I think that we are going to be biking a lot because the weather will be warmer but not too hot quite yet.

That is great that you are doing bike riding with your dad to get miles. It is an excellent way to gain mileage, exercise, and enjoy the outdoors. It is not easy to do it when it is cold or hot. This challenge is not easy but, you are doing it. Keep up the hard work.
