Written by Today my husband Rich had breakfast in Knoxville with our daughter Mars & her boyfriend Logan. This is the result of years of hard work for everyone involved. Mars had misophonia as an aspect of her severe OCD, and this led to years of intense disruption to the relationship between her & her dad. Many therapists haven’t even heard of it, so getting help was excruciating. But look at this! She’s standing so close to him (probably the closest she’s been in 8.5 years or more!). Look at the smiles! He traded a trip just to have the overnight in Knoxville. She & Logan took off from work and they spent the entire morning together
Four years ago I wished for the emotional reunification of my family on my annual wishing moon (it’s in Leo for me). Everyone kept doing the work — which was typically a lot of shadow work and boundary setting. And today, my daughter had a date with her dad. Life simply keeps getting better & better! Let that be the mantra for today
