Beating the HeatThis week has been, to say the least, brutal with the excessive heatwave Sacramento is getting. It has been difficult to be motivated to do anything. The AC unit for my house is struggling to even keep it at 79…

This heat is really uncomfortable. I can understand how hard it is to train and sleep in the heat. I try to do everything in the early morning so when it is hot I can just relax. If you miss days of training you can make them up on the weekend or cooler days. Your numbers look good so you don’t need to stress about missing a day or two of training.

Don’t be so hard on yourself. You are doing so much. You are working more than a 40 hour week and volunteering after work and days off. The community and the animals need your help. Thanks for giving so much to them. Your kindness is almost at 100%. That is wonderful. We need more people like you in the world.

That is awesome you went to a tournament that no one else went to. It is good to compete even when you are the only competitor because it gives you experience practicing in front of an audience. Great job on competing and winning metals.
