Postal Service Colorguard

This past week I got the opportunity to lead a Postal Service colorguard. This is one of the few colorguards that I’ve led that have gone really wrong. We had a couple new members on the team, so right off the bat the colorguard was already struggling. The second thing that went wrong was our JROTC instructor got lost when we were trying to find the location, so we ended up getting there a little later than expected and had no time to practice. When we got there we realized that the ceilings were very VERY low and we weren’t able to lift our flags all the way up to present the colors. I guess all these things kinda threw me off because when we were performing I forgot to call a command and it messed up the two new team members. Overall, the colorguard was a hot mess but we got pastries after so I guess it was okay.
