Lucas Grant: Week 7

Finals week is coming up so that means hitting the books and studding a bunch. I have 7 classes and the only one I don’t have a final in is P.E. so that means I have to do 6 finals, how fun. I think the scariest one that I am facing is my physics final. This final sums up all of what I learned this year so I am going to need to study a lot, luckily it is open note so at least I have my notebook. There is a good side to finals week though, we get out of school at around 12:30 everyday, so the after school going to lunch with friends will make this week worth it. After this stressful week it will be a new semester, a chance to make new good habits and try and amend any bad ones. It will be the start of the road to summer, and I can’t wait. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and I am so excited to reach it.

I think my test is going well! Getting the push-ups and sit-ups in has started to become a routine so that makes my brain happy. getting the sparing round is been the most challenging portion of my tests so far, I need to start staying after class to spar more. but I’m sure if I make arrangements with some people they would help me get some rounds in. Overall its going pretty well, almost 2 mouths down.

My current Challenge progress as of December 23, 2024.

  1. I know you will do well in your finals. You are a smart grandson. Push ups, sit ups and sparing, you can fit in also. Get to work, Lucas!! Xoxo

  2. You will need to connect more with your partner in class–stay after classes more. Perhaps you can arrange to stay late on Saturdays or get together with friends on Sunday?
