    Teaching Classes

This test has obviously been a big part of my life recently, but another thing that has been a big part of my life in the last year or so is my involvement with teaching classes at the dojo. I help teach the…

    • Teaching is a wonderful rewarding experience. I am glad that it brings you joy since you will be a school teacher someday in the future. I also started teaching an adult class in the morning when I started my black belt challenge. It has helped me grow and became a better martial artist. I know it is also helping you on your challenge. It is very rewarding to see students learn, progress, and smile happily from teaching. Keep on being the positive role model in children lives.

    • That’s awesome you placed silver in both kata and weapons. Well done. Tournaments are excellent ways to prepare for the test. Keep up the hard work.

    • Congratulations on doing so well at the tournament! It takes courage to perform in front of others, and I celebrate you for doing so! Also, being the only female in your division can feel as if you have a spotlight on you, or perhaps even intimidating at times. Maintaining your mindfulness and knowing that you have an opportunity to embrace rather than an obstacle to overcome can help you find your balance. May you keep cultivating the One Heart Way as you continue your journey to shodan.
