Wow 5:30 plank is impressive. I am sure all those sit-ups and pushups really did help. I’m glad you had a good summer doing CLC.

Congrats on being group CC — that’s a high leadership position! My son did CLC for AFJROTC and enjoyed it. Sounds like you are as well. May you continue to learn as much from your students as they learn from you 🙂

State FairOn July 26th I went to the State Fair! The State Fair is my favorite part of summer because I LOVE roller coasters and rides. My favorite ride at the fair is this really really tall ride with 4 seats at either end.…

Beautiful kata! You really nailed the most challenging sections, such as the spin, which can be especially challenging on an unfamiliar surface. Thank you for representing the dojo so well!

Humboldt State now Cal Poly Humboldt is an excellent school. I went there for my degree in Zoology. It has an incredible science program. The outdoors there are so beautiful. You will never run out of things to do like hiking, biking, camping, rock climbing, rafting, and backpacking. If you love the outdoors and major in environmental science it’s the place for you. Good luck in applying.

If you and Olivia both end up at Humboldt, you are going to be significantly increasing the amount of Isshinryu karate-ka there by a large amount!
